Stefan is a Switzerland-born photographer with a passion for nature and the outdoors. His love for photography began at aged eighteen during a lone trip across the southern plateau of Iceland. With his camera in one hand and provisions in another, he began an expedition which would influence his career for ever.

My love for photography is inextricably linked to my love of nature. This passion completely determines my travels - if it means I must trek through the Himalayas for 25 days for a certain image, then I’ll do it.

As a nature and landscape photographer I usually cover long distances and high altitudes on foot, so the weight and size of my camera is crucial. I have been extremely impressed by the lightweight size of Nikon’s cameras and lenses, which is why I have continued to grow my kit my bag. It now includes everything from the impressive Z 8 to telephoto lenses, such as the NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 lens.
